Someone mentioned that Swift Parrots haven't yet been sighted in the Box/Ironbark forests of central/north Victoria. I observed 6 Swifts 2 kilometres north of Avoca on the 26th April. The eucalypts weren't in flower and they appeared to be feeding on lerps or the sugary substance associated with lerps.
