I have always thought that Galahs and to a lesser extent Sulphur-cresteds, fly in a rather erratic fashion to avoid Peregrines, as well as for the fun of it. Being slightly smaller than the Yellow-tailed black cockatoos, in particular, they are perhaps more vulnerable to raptor attack.
