A volunteer of mine has just returned from two weeks tripping around South Australia. She is a relatively inexperienced birder and saw a honeyeater that she has been unable to identify, primarily because views were partially obscurred by mistletoe and the views she did get were primarily from directly below. While I don't expect any definate answers she would welcome opinions on the likelihood of her most likely candidates. The bird was observed in mistletoe at Arkaroola in the northern Flinders Ranges. Her possibles are Singing, White-plumed and Grey-fronted Honeyeater. Any comments.
