Earlier this week, the ABC also reported on the plight of the Cassowary on
the 7.30 report.     They had  interviews with various people and groups
who are currently involved in the protection of the bird from habitat
destruction and death on the roads as they are forced into urban areas in
search of food.       Sorry, I was unable to catch  place names etc. as I
had to answer the front door!          I guess you can get a transcript of
the report from the ABC .
