Further to my posting yesterday, today the migration here is huge!
Under a cloudless sky I counted 850 in 10 minutes (11.12-11.22am)
flying north up my part of the Katoomba Falls catchment. That's about
5100 an hour, mainly Yellow-faced Honeyeaters but including a
sizeable proportion of Silvereyes as well. (Don't ask me to tell you
how many of each - it's hard enough just counting!) There were also
some Spotted and Striated Pardalotes.

Cheers,
Carol
