Hi All

I spotted my first Brown Goshawk of the winter migrants today, smart chap
leaving the cooler climes of Mexico and heading north of the border to SUNNY
North Queensland for the winter.

The winter birds (Goshawks) seem to drift over Townsville in a northerly
direction at this time of year.

Regards

To a man ornithologists are tall, slender, and bearded, so
that they can stand motionless for hours, imitating kindly
trees, as they watch for birds.
