Hi all, I was wondering if this sighting was out of the ordinary or not. Today at Badger Weir, at Healesville (about 1 hour's drive east of Melbourne) I saw a pair or magpies at the picnic grounds. One was the normal (for down here) white-backed magpie but the other was a black-backed magpie. Have other people seen black-backeds this far south? Cheers, Lainie Berry To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
