Hi all,
There were 4 Flame Robins in Braeside Park, SE suburbs of Melbourne,
Victoria, to-day, 3 were brown birds. The breast of the fourth was washed
red. This is my first sighting of this species in the park for the year.
They are an altitudinal migrant and will be with us now for the winter ( in
much larger numbers in a few weeks ).
Rob.
