Further to my earlier e-mail on this topic - the opportunity still
exists for volunteers to join trips to sites at Lower Ovens River,
Gunbower Island and Barmah Forest in April-May 1999.

Monash University will provide food (and transport from Melbourne)
for volunteers (maximum of 2 per trip). Three trips have been scheduled; each
will last 4-6
days depending on weather, number of observers, etc.

From:

Monday 12 April 1999 Lower Ovens River
Friday 23 April 1999 Gunbower Island
Monday 10 May 1999 Barmah Forest

You should be familiar with riverine woodland birds, visual and
acoustic identification of those birds, be moderately fit and willing to camp
out for periods of about a week, and available in April-May 1999.

For further details, contact me by e-mail at <>, AH
phone at
(03) 9354 2484 or (0419) 588 993.

I look forward to hearing from you!
