birding-aus My original message also disappeared to that great email in the sky so here goes again. I had a call from a person with a possible sighting of a Hudsonian Godwit in the Tin Can Bay area(Qld) on the "Mangrove Walk" The bird was with a flock of 250 Bar tailed Godwits which she observed for an hour during which time she noted the diagnostic black under wing of this one bird. It would be good if any birdo's living in the area could confirm it as a Hudsonian. I'm jealous! H.Godwit has been on my hit list for years!! Bett Mitchell.
