birding-aus My apologies the sighting from Avondale by Rod Gardner refers to a White-rumped Swiftlet C. spodiopygius not a Glossy Swiftlet C.Esculenta. This means the recent sighting by Jim Francis is as far as I know the only record for the Sydney area and perhaps the only record for NSW? Are there any records for SE Queensland?
