Hi Frasers & Birding Aus

Arnold McGill in his book "A Handlist of Birds in NSW" Fauna Protection Panel, Sydney 1958, gave Jervis Bay as the most southern limit for the Coucal. Morris, McGill & Holmes 1981 NSWFOC (Handlist of Birds in NSW) gave the the most southern limit as Ulladulla.

Since 1970, the most southerly records have been viz

Bargo March-August 1976
Barren Grounds NR 21 Jan 1986
Gerringong 24 October 1995
More records further north

Alan Morris
NSWFOC Records Officer
