birding-aus G'day all Last Sunday (31/1/99) I saw a colour banded Pied Oystercatcher on Griffith's Island, Port Fairy, Victoria. The bird had the following bands: right leg lower - metal, right leg upper - blue, left leg lower - red, left leg upper - white. I'll pass this on to Clive Minton but if anyone else has information about this individual I would be interested. The banded bird was with another, unbanded one.
