I am a member of WIRES in Sydney and was called out to rescue an unknown type of bird .On arrival and to my great suprise I found this huge bird wich I discovered later was a Pheasant Coucal. This bird was found at Ryde a northern suburb of Sydney and far from it's natural habitat.Has anyone heard of any sightings of these birds in this area.
