I totally agree with Keith's point about turning off a new birdo and those
mentioned by others. We must understand that we are sending messages to a
whole range of birdo's not just those that know every abbreviated birding
name or term. Even though I am aware of some abbreviations like BFCS
(Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike), YFHE (Yellow-faced Honyeater) or GST (not
Howard's tax, but a Grey Shrike-thrush), but an OZPO sounds ridiculous.

Let's make messages more understandable and stick to plain English names to
keep matters simpler.
