     Keith,
     
     Thank you for puting the situation into perspective so clearly, I 
     wanted to know what all this rubbish was about. Lets put some sanity 
     back into the electronic mail. NO MORE ABREVIATIONS just plain English 
     names.

I agree with David's comments entirely. What turn off for a new "Birdo" 
confronted with a string of letters instead of a name as well as some one 
like myself who's grey matter is not as agile as it used to be.
So lets stick to plain English when naming birds posted to birding-aus.Keith
