Has anyone else had a close look at the spotting scopes in the Birds Australia Bird Shop catalogue? The two Kowa scopes mounted on the Manfrotto tripods have been fitted sideways (parallel to the altitude axis), and the Leica scope appears to have been fitted to the Berlebach (wooden) tripod without a tripod head at all! Things could be worse - some would-be astronomers have returned "faulty" Newtonian telescopes having set them up as in the catalogue - upside down. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Taylor Veni, vidi, tici - I came, I saw, I ticked. |
