<John Clifton-Everest asked about snakes in the diet of Brown Falcons> The Brown falcon is known to be an opporunistic feeder on birds, small mammals and reptiles. HANZAB lists 14 species of snakes recorded in the diet of the Brown Falcon and Eastern Browns and Red-bellied Black Snakes feature well in the records.. I have personally seen them with small brown (Eastern Browns?) snakes on a number of occasions. Alan Morris |
