While I have no explanation for the lack of Willy Wagtails on your route I can assure you that the one who sings all night outside our window is alive and well. And I have to say that at 2 am its song closely resembles the sound of a LOUD squeaky door hinge. (Sweet, pretty thing, indeed...!) Anne -- Anne & Roger A.
