A couple of weeks ago a birding colleague and I were driving north through Pymble on the Pacific Highway at around 7.00 am. A Sulphur -crested Cockatoo flew over the road in front of us carrying a pink rose in its bill. The blossom was about 40 mm across and the stem about 200 mm long. Any suggestions ?? |
