Let there be no rubbishing of Macs - every one built is able to cope with
the year 2000!   And some of the best programs written for the scientific
analysis of wildlife sounds, especially bird-song, are for Macs:  Cornell
University's "Canary"  and our local "Audiograph", written by Stromlo
astronomer Ralph Slater Sutherland, for example.

Sorry I can't help you with the personal birds records program.
