I'm no doubt leaving it a bit late now - its around 1400 hours on Friday 25
September and I leave at around 0500 hours tomorrow morning, Saturday 26
September - but if anyone one out there has a few last minutes tips about
birding in the Barren Grounds (Saturday 26 to Wednesday 30 September) and in
the Hunter Valley (Wednesday 30 September to Saturday 3 October)areas I'd be
grateful.

I will be checking my mailbox very early tomorrow morning.

Mind you, in the Valley I'm in the heart of some exceptionally good
Australian red wine country! I've even heard that the Hunter Valley has
improved its white wine production :-). Maybe birding wont be such a
problem - two glasses best red + House Sparrow = Red Goshawk (?)

Hope to see some of you at least on the Wolloongong pelagic on Sunday.

Julian
