On Sat. (19/9/98) Tim Reid and I had fleeting views of what appeared to be a male Blackbird in Edmonton, just South of Cairns. The bird was only seen from the back, was black, slightly smaller than a Myna, thrush-like jizz. It hopped accross the lawn, flew into a mangoe tree in a yard and disappeared. Has anyone seen Blackbird in NQ? I was not aware of their presence so far north. The Atlas doesn't even show them reaching Qld. I can provide specific directions if anyone cares to follow it up.
