Jill, 
The Channel-billed Cuckoos must have detoured around the Sunshine Coast as
they arrived at Mosman Bay (Sydney)  8 Sept and at Hornsby Heights (nthn
suburbs of Sydney) 14th. A Koel was heard this
morning (14th) also at Mosman Bay
