A planned pelagic trip from Robe, South Australia, for Sunday, 13
September needs several more participants. The large boat and small
group should result in an uncrowded day.
Robe is approximately 250 KM south of Adelaide. The boat will leave Robe
at 7 AM and return about 4 PM. Most participants will stay overnight in
Robe on Saturday, and there will be a group dinner on Saturday night.
Shared car transportation can probably be arranged from the Adelaide
area for those needing or desiring it.
The trips are run on a non-profit, cost-sharing basis. The boat cost is
expected to be $60 or $65.
A 48 foot boat has been lined up. The captain reports "lots of birds out
there" on recent fishing trips. They cannot be guaranteed of course, but
we are hoping that they will remain.
If bad weather looks likely, the trip will probably be cancelled on the
day before.
