I agree with almost all that Ian Temby wrote about the seed sculpture idea and the potential problems of feeding wild birds. But: 1) the CBD peregrines didn't breed last year - perhaps the will this year if they can see a supply of their favourite food feeding on the sculpture 2) the sculpture could be decorated with some other artificial foods - some meat to get back the kookaburras that nested near Flinders St, some nectar mix for passing honeyeaters and lorikeets... with a warning that only supplementary feeding is advisable.
