Interesting birds on the flood plains west of Condobolin since by last report. 2 Wandering Whistling-ducks, 30/08/98; 8 Australian Shelducks 30.08.98;2 Buff-banded Rail 29/08/98.
 
Will plenty of the usual, Pink-eared, Pacific Black Duck, Grey Teal, Hardhead, Plumed Whistling-duck, Shoveler etc.
 
The third high is currently hitting the area.
