Dear Annabel, The Superb Parrot record for Carroll is an interesting one,. Whikle there have been no records published in the NSWFOC Annual Bird Reports for Gunnedah Shire during the period 1970-1995, the "Handlist of Birds of New South Wales" 1981 Morris, McGill & Holmes records that they have been reported as far east as Gunnedah! Eight were seen at Narrabri by yours truly 29/7/70. Alan Morris |
