For those interested in the advice forwarded to the Commonwealth Environment Minister regarding listing of various albatross species to the Endangered Species Protection Act 1992 - some interesting and useful information can be found on the Environment Australia webpage which has recently been updated to a new format. http://www.biodiversity.environment.gov.au Check the "Changes to ESP Act Schedules" link for this report. I am interested to hear what people think of the conservation ratings decided upon by the committee for these species.
