PROJECT MANAGER
Birds Australia is seeking a manager for its Handbook of Australian, New
Zealand and Antarctic Birds. Reporting to the CEO, the Handbook Manager is
responsible for the ongoing management of the project. The person must be
highly organized, with management experience and a demonstrated ability to
prepare and work effectively to strict timetables and budgets. Relevant
experience in leading a scientific team and managing all aspects of staff
administration are of primary importance. Good communication skills are
essential. A degree in natural sciences with experience in ornithology is
highly desirable, as would be experience in editing and publishing. For job
