The 100 Swift Parrots at Londonderry remain it seems! Hopefully they will stay for the August count on 8-9. Can anyone give me a rundown on what the birds are feeding on, and what birds they are with? Is the site a roost? The Lononderry group is the largest flock I know of in Australia this year apart from a roost of 120 in the Wellsford State Forest near Bendigo. Is the Londonderry mob on public forest or private land? It sounds like they are near suburbia. Hoping someone can help. Simon. K PS I have no idea why my messages are flagged as Simon JOHN Kennedy. Its a bit silly really |
