Hi everyone, here's the birds I saw on a very enjoyable day out I had at Bunyip State Park, south-east of Melbourne last Friday (3/7/98). (Incidently on a previous visit to Mortimers Reserve at Bunyip I almost stepped on a group of about 4 -5 Southern Emu-wrens - they were right on the track, absolutely beautiful! I'd never seen these before and I was able to get a really good look at them) Crescent Honeyeater Varied Sitella White-throated Treecreeper Crested Shrike-tit Crey Shrike-thrush Eastern Spinebill Eastern Yellow Robin Brown Thornbill Superb Fairy-wren Australian Raven Bell Miner Australian Magpie White-browed Scrubwren Red-browed Finch Crimson Rosella Grey Butcherbird Laughing Kookaburra Common Blackbird Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo Australian Wood Duck Pied Currawong Lainie Berry Department of Biological Sciences, Monash University Clayton |
