Hi all, The pub at Thargomindah SWQ, used to have large white cedar trees out the front that the local Red-tails apparently found quite attractive. Locals say that when they decided on a cedar hit that upto 30 birds could be seen in the trees most of the day. We must have fussy parrots as well as no other species found the cedars appealing. Unfortunately the trees were removed and it is now rare for the Red-tails to venture into the town. cheers -- +----------------------------------------+ Colin Dollery Charleville District Office Tel: (076) 54 1255 Fax: (076) 54 1418 E-mail: |
