Several years ago, I observed, on several occasions, an Australian Hobby "hanging out with" a Pied Butcherbird, outside our home. Each bird had its preferred perch and they were seen at the same time. While I often see Pied Butcherbirds, the Hobby is a less frequent visitor so I paid particular note to its companion.
