A note for anyone thinking of looking for the Sydney Beach Stone-Curlew. Dion Hobcroft miraculously relocated the bird at Bonna Point - Kurnell this afternoon (02-June-1998). No doubt this is the same bird that was seen at Bonnievale Beach near Bundeena on Sunday and Coledale Beach near Wollongong some weeks back. I think this is the first record of this species for SYDNEY. Does anyone know of any other records? Are there any other birds south of Sydney?
