Are those ring-necked pheasants really feral or just on the run? I recall seeing a show on tele many years ago (I think it may have been Mike and Mal) where these blokes would raise the pheasants in captivity, release the birds into the bush, put seed out along the forest paths and then have a jolly good time blasting them away. Are the pheasants ever sighted with chicks? Andrew Patrick |
