Just a couple of recent obs that seemed to me slightly unusual, but that may simply reflect my ignorance of the area. Any comments would be welcomed; I have of course consulted the field guides, Atlas etc. 1. Bush Stone-curlew at dusk (6pm), in the headlights by the roadside 20k south of Emerald (Rollestone road), on 3 May. Where do they start to become rare as we come south? 2. Flocks of Figbirds in Roma 23 May; seems a long way inland, though the atlas records them from near there. Thanks!
