Bound hard copies of the 1997 Australian Bird Research Directory are now on
sale at the Birds Australia Shop as Birds Australia Report No. 4.
The Directory briefly describes 339 funded bird research projects that were
conducted by 127 researchers/research groups in 1997. It also gives the
contact details (phone, fax & email address) of the principal investigator
of each project.
The Directory can also be found on Birds Australia?s home page
<http://www.vicnet.net.au/~birdsaus>. However, the bound hard copy has bird
species and researcher name indexes which are absent in the home page version.
The cost of the 1997 Directory is $20 (plus $4 postage & handling). Please
email the Birds Australia Shop at <> if you want to order a
copy.
