G'day all With a bit of luck I may get a work trip to China in August. The place I'll be going to is Urumqi in the far north west and that's probably the only area where I will have much time for birding. I would like some advice on a field guide that would cover the area please. I've never travelled to China (or anywhere else much overseas) before and would welcome any advice from folk that have been to this part of the world. Urumqi doesn't seem to be on the regular tourist itineraries and gets little coverage in guide books etc. Many thanks Steve ------------------------------------------------ Stephen Clark Agriculture Victoria, Pastoral & Veterinary Institute Private Bag 105 HAMILTON 3300 Australia Phone 0355 730 977 Fax 0355 711 523 ------------------------------------------------ |
