Hello everyone At noon Tuesday 17 March I saw a White-bellied Sea Eagle flying north over the southern part of Lake Tuggeranong, ACT, at an altitude of about 15 metres (eye level with my office window). It just cruised on by. It seemed to be escorted by a group of Wood Ducks, about 50 in all, in two separate groups (roughly speaking). They were flying with some a little behind to the right, and some off to the left of the eagle. It looked to be sort of coincidental, since there appeared to be no discernible interaction between the ducks and the eagle. Looked interesting though. Quite a nice sight. Didn't last long enough.
