I have a sneaking suspicion that water was being diverted from the swamp or the tap had been turned off, either way I don't imagine there's any water in it yet with this unseasonably hot weather. We've never managed to gain access to the farm proper but you can get a reasonable view (a scope helps) of the ponds from a dirt track off the bitumen road to the north(?) of the main gates.
