A powerful owl was found roosting at Cann River(Vic) caravan park on 15/2. Bruce Anderson, the caretaker is now aware of the bird's presence and can give directions to birders. Is this a new roost location for this species? Also found on the same Vic/NSW trip by some intrepid SA birders were 6 Pilotbirds,3 Origmas,3 White Wagtails,2 Wonga Pigeons,a Ground Parrot, and Eastern Bristlebirds(dozens). Details available on request. Tony Russell. Tony Russell Ph: 08 82078470W 08 83375959H Fax:08 82078422 e mail: |
