Visiting birder Diana Churchill of Boston, USA, currently into the last month of her Australian sojourn (having arrived on these shores last November) is toying with the idea of going from Brisbane (she is currently at O'Reilly's) out to MITCHELL, EULO BORE, CURRAWINYA, maybe TIBOOBURRA and then down to Sydney via BOURKE. She'd prefer company. Anyone thinking of going that way this weekend? Is there anyone in a position to meet her somewhere enroute? Replies to me and I'll pass them on to Diana. A lovely lady with in excess of 430 Australian birds - she now needs some tough ones! Julian Bielewicz Past President Queensland Ornithological Society |
