Richard, I found it on Saturday late afternoon. It was exactly in the area of the instructions, ie under the major power line (actually just east of it by about 50 metres), on the opposite side of the Main Yarra Path to the vandalised shared access path sign (Melways 32J3). The bird was in the Acacias about 15-20m from the track towards the river. It was sitting very quietly and moved only once in my observation of 15-20 minutes. Chris Subject: Melbourne Regent Honeyeater Did any Melbourne birder find the Regent Honeyeater along the Main Yarra Path over the weekend?? Diana and I looked fairly widely in the reported area on Saturday morning without any luck. If anyone has seen it in the past 2 days (or does so in the next few days) I would appreciate specific directions as to exactly where.
