Info on a bird print

G'day all,

        Some friends from the USA have asked me to find out some
information/background on an Australian bird print they have. The only
details they provided are:
L.M. Medland, Plate CLXII Birds.

Can anyone out there help with who is/was L.M. Medland, when the print was
done and what bird is illustrated on plate CLXII (and anything else of
interest?)
