A pair of Channel-billed Cuckoos flew overhead this morning at Meadowbank Park pursued by Pied Currawongs. This is the first time I've seen this bird in my local area. Sightings of Channel-bills seem to be quite common around Sydney in recent years. Is this due to the success of Pied currawongs in the Sydney area?
