Thanks for the warm welcome to birding-aus and the response to my report on bird 'goings-on' down here in Tassie. I would be very happy to pass on occasional updates and snippets from the south as events unfold. Russell Woodford has cautioned me against being too cruel to those from way up north with penguin reports. All I can say, is just don't lay it on too thick with reports such as those on Blue rock thrushes or I can't be held responsible (fair's fair, afterall).
