400 Black-cockies

As reported in this week's ACT hotline highlights (which I assume not
everyone's interested in, hence this separate posting), a single flock of
~400 Yellow-tailed Black-cockies flying west over suburban Oxley towards the
Brindabellas (or perhaps northern Kosziusko beyond them). There's only ever
been one Brindies breeding record, so even it seems unlikely to be summer
movement into the mountains to breed, a la many other local spp. And are
they from the coast, or the Tinderry and Tallaganda ranges.

Any thoughts, at the specific or general level?

Thanks,

Ian
