Thanks for sending this info to BIRDING-AUS.  My feeling is that the only
short-term action that would reduce casual shooting of albatrosses and other
seabirds is to ban guns (or have very strict permits) on fishing vessels and
recreational watercraft within the AFZ (and state waters).  This may be
simplistic.  Have you any other thoughts on the matter?
