G'day All

On the subject of birds attacking people. I used to get attacked by our
pair of Grey butcherbirds and Magpies in the park accross the road from
home but not anymore!

Edwin

P.S. To all Sydney Birder's. Do we still all remember that Agro Magpie at
the McGraths Hill STW? What happened to it? Or did it turn to that Barn
Owl that attacked me a few weekends ago.

just read in the paper about the baby boy (14 mo) who lost an eye from a
magpie attack in Canberra. Does anyone know any more details?

Also, does any one know why Tassie magpies are so docile compared to
mainland birds. I have never heard of anyone being attacked in Tasmania,
so
why the difference in behaviour b/w mainland and Tas?

Thanks in advance

Eric
